24 January 2025
The data from release year 2024 has been updated. The update brings the following changes:
- 100 new cases (23CN0101-23CN0200) from CATARC in China.
- 100 new cases (23DE0101-23DE0200) from the Medical University of Hannover in Germany.
- As usual, bugs that were reported on the issue tracker have been resolved.
- There has been extensive work in a dedicated subgroup on the quality of the data from previous releases which is now incorporated into this update.
- Auto-generated variables have been introduced mostly for convenience when analyzing the data. These include participant, vehicle, person, and injured person count as well as an alternative classification of the accident type.
- Data delivery from Australia (CASR) has been paused for release 2024.
The number of cases for year 2024 is now 1101. The data can be downloaded here. The statistical report has been updated with the new dataset.
Data providers should note that the upload of new data via ICHECK is closed until the final codebook for member year 2024 (release year 2025) is released.
